Welcome to WalkBurn, your premium step tracking and calorie coaching companion. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information WalkBurn uses, how it is handled, and your rights regarding your data.

To provide accurate calorie estimates, personalized step goals, and fitness insights, WalkBurn uses information that you voluntarily provide, including:

- Fitness Data: Walking sessions, step counts, calories burned, goals, and workout history.
- App Preferences: Settings and preferences used to personalize your experience.
WalkBurn does not require account registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email address during normal use.

WalkBurn does not use third-party analytics or tracking services to collect your personal fitness data.

5. Data Security
Because your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends largely on your device’s own security features. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information within the app, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

WalkBurn is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since user data is stored locally on the device and not transmitted to our servers, we do not maintain personal information about children.
7. Managing Your Data
You have full control over your information.
You can permanently delete all stored data by:
- Selecting “Clear All Data” within the app (if available), or
- Clearing the application’s storage or uninstalling the app from your device.
Once deleted, locally stored data cannot be recovered.
8. Permissions
WalkBurn may request certain device permissions that are necessary for app functionality, such as:
- Physical Activity / Activity Recognition – to count steps and walking activity.
- Notifications (optional) – for reminders and goal notifications.
These permissions are used only to provide app features and are not used to collect personal information for advertising or profiling.
